Experience
I have had the amazing privilege of teaching for five years prior to exploring my counseling career. I have teaching experience in primarily low-SES schools in grades 3, 5, 6, and 7.
Teaching
I have had experience throughout my internships during graduate school and after in mental health settings. Some of these experiences include: Bossier Parish Drug Court, Center for Children and Families, Volunteers of America-North Louisiana, and Elated Counseling Services, LLC.

With my combined teaching and mental health experience, I have tools useful in the school setting. For the 2019-2020 school year, I was blessed to be the school counselor at a low-SES elementary school in Caddo Parish.
From August 2020, I have been so blessed to be a part of the Plano ISD counselor team, serving an elementary school with 520 students and grades Pre-K through 5th grade.
